The Explorer 625 is a genuine legend. The blue water fishing scene throughout Australia has embraced this model and elevated it to cult status. Few offshore fishing machines roll off the production line with such an impressive inventory of standard equipment, not to mention, attention to detail.
By any measure this is a big boat, that will carry a family or any fishing group, far offshore in absolute safety and comfort. The Explorer 625 features a raised deck line, so as to provide a heap of space in the cabin. Under the flowing line of the deck, and fitted forward of the helm, is a cabin that features a fully moulded interior. This delivers very smooth, neat lines.
The cockpit is expansive, with the helm position pushed a little further forward, to make fishing even easier. This is a dream ‘work space’ for game fishermen. The cockpit area is broad, thanks to the big 2.45m beam of the hull.
Check the complete list of features and you’ll soon see the stand outs that set the Explorer apart from the competition, bar none!

How do you make the biggest and the best, even better? Add a Hard Top and fish for many more months of the year.
Boaters now have the choice of two HardTop variations on the Explorer 685. The HardTop can be optioned with a full height glass window that extends from the front of the dash to the underside of the hardtop moulding. The full height glass work also extends along both sides of the cockpit with sliding panels to allow a flow of air through when needed.
Up north and over in the west where the heat can be just as much as an impediment to comfort as the rain, the HardTop can be fitted with a standard windscreen and utilises CruiseCraft’s unique sail track system for the clears. When the clears are opened, a breeze can flow through the helm area, while providing protection from the sun and rain.
Common features to both variations are the laminated front glass panels, high quality stainless steel hand rails and rod racks. A single wiper is standard with the full height glass version only. For those who want even more protection from the elements, an optional SST sliding extension allows a canopy to be extended out over the cockpit.
